Our offerings include fractional CFO advisory, monthly financial close management, cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, fundraising data room preparation, and vendor payment optimization. These services are delivered through a combination of dedicated financial operations teams and our proprietary platform, which automates reconciliation and surfaces financial anomalies for review.
Our services are informational and operational in nature. Tarient does not provide investment advice, securities brokerage, lending, debt relief, or insurance products. Tarient is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, bank, or credit union. Any financial guidance provided through our services is operational and strategic in nature and should not be construed as personalized investment advice.
3. Financial Services Disclaimer
The financial operations services, reports, forecasts, and analyses provided by Tarient are intended for operational and strategic business planning purposes only. 4. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use Tarient's services, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into binding agreements on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent. If you are accessing our services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials associated with your use of our platform and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Payment Terms
Tarient's services are offered on a subscription basis with monthly retainer packages, as well as one-time engagement fees for specific projects. All fees are outlined in your service agreement and are due according to the billing schedule specified therein. Tarient reserves the right to modify pricing with thirty (30) days' written notice. Failure to remit payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, software, and proprietary methodologies available through tarient.com and our platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, data compilations, and analytical frameworks — are the property of Tarient Corporation or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our proprietary materials without prior written consent.
Financial reports and deliverables prepared specifically for your engagement remain your property upon full payment. However, Tarient retains ownership of all underlying methodologies, templates, frameworks, and tools used in their preparation.
7. SMS Messaging — Account Notifications
Tarient may offer an SMS messaging program to deliver account-related notifications to users who have provided explicit opt-in consent. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Tarient related to your account activity, including but not limited to billing and renewal notices, report delivery confirmations, meeting reminders, login verification codes, and service status updates.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard messaging rates will apply to all messages sent and received.
You may opt out at any time:

Opting out of SMS messages will not affect your ability to use Tarient's services through other channels.
SMS messages are supported on the following carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, US Cellular, Google Voice, Cellular One, Cellcom, Cellular South, Interop, Clearsky. Carrier support is subject to change without notice.
Carrier Liability. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your phone number will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Tarient uses your phone number exclusively for delivering account-related notifications as described above.
8. Confidentiality
In the course of providing services, Tarient may receive access to confidential financial data, business records, and proprietary information belonging to you or your organization ("Confidential Information"). Tarient agrees to treat all Confidential Information with the same degree of care it uses to protect its own confidential information, and will not disclose such information to third parties except as required by law or with your prior written consent.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
OUR SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ON TARIENT.COM ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TARIENT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TARIENT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TARIENT CORPORATION AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH OUR PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TO TARIENT DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.
12. Modifications to Terms
Tarient reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the Terms on this page. Your continued use of our services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
